HBA Conversation with Publicis: Paving the Path to Transformational Leadership

Publicis Health Canada X Healthcare Businesswomen’s Association

On December 5th, Publicis Health Canada and HBA hosted an event to celebrate and highlight the innovation of women leaders in the healthcare industry. An esteemed lineup of speakers gathered for a discussion on “Accelerating Transformation Leadership”, sharing insights from the recent HBA Annual Meeting and personal experiences from their leadership journeys.

The HBA is committed to creating women leaders for life through strong business networks, education, leadership development, and global recognition. Through events like these, they aim to advance careers and foster a global healthcare community that empowers women in the business of healthcare.

During the panel discussion, our speakers shared pivotal moments from their leadership paths, explored key trends that are shaping the future of leadership, particularly in healthcare, and reflected on how HBA has helped them enhance their personal skills.

When Lily McNeil, SVP of Client Service at Publicis Health Canada and a member of HBA, was asked how she created an environment that inspired leadership in every team member, she provided a personal example:

“Our Health team started as a small group, sitting around a boardroom table at lunch. As we grew, we certainly had to introduce more structure, but we’ve created an environment where everyone has a voice and interacts with all levels of management. People are leaning in to share their thoughts on how we continue to build our team and our service offering. We encourage everyone to be part of the conversation. I believe it’s that access and experience that most reinforces leadership qualities and provides individuals with more opportunities to grow professionally.”

A heartfelt thank you again to all our panelists for their valuable contributions!
